How can I really get to know people better at Emmanuel?

Home Fellowship Groups:
Home Fellowship Groups:
No other ministry opportunity is as central to our church as fellowship groups. They are the primary place of pastoral care. HFG’s meet throughout the neighborhood—and even elsewhere during the week and include worship, Bible study, sharing and prayer. See below for a list of groups. Contact Scott Strickman, our HFG Coordinator, for contact information for a group.

The following home fellowship groups would welcome new people. All groups meet on the Upper West Side, and most meet 3 times per month (on the first Friday of each month home groups don’t meet so we can gather for our monthly community meeting).

Women-to-Women Ministry

Finding God in New York
If there is a loving God out there (and there is), why should it come as a surprise to us that he would do whatever is necessary to make himself clear and accessible? Why should it come as a surprise that he would actually come searching for us?

God is there - accessible, loving, and knowable. There is ample reason for believing he exists. But you won't actually find him until you trust him. And you won't really trust him until you trust Jesus, the one whom he sent.

Don't permit a fashionable cynicism to deprive you of the relationship for which you were made.
